Kaza

Sitting at over 3,600 metres, Kaza is Spiti Valley's administrative headquarters and the natural base for exploring the region. Surrounded by bare, folded mountains and the Spiti River, the town blends a small but lively market with easy access to some of the highest villages and monasteries in the Himalayas. Kaza is where most Spiti itineraries pause to acclimatize before pushing on to Langza, Komic, Kibber, and Chandratal.
